The Story Behind the Table

Three sisters. A lot of chaos.

And a table that somehow brought it all together.

There are two types of people in the kitchen — the ones who follow recipes… and the ones who Create Stories.

Natasha, Nicole, and Mariel were proudly the second type.

Growing up, the kitchen in their parents' home wasn't just a place to cook — it was a stage for absolute, unapologetic chaos. Spaghetti fights. Sauce explosions.

Every meal was a gamble. Every recipe was loosely interpreted. And every disaster ended the same way — three sisters laughing so hard they couldn't breathe.

How it happened
The Beginning

They weren't always the best of friends.

They were sisters first — which meant they weren’t always best friends. They fought, competed, pushed each other’s buttons, and somehow still found their way back to the kitchen. That was always the one place where everything softened. In the kitchen, the arguments turned into laughter, the messes became memories, and time around the table mattered more than whatever they had been fighting about five minutes earlier. Then life pulled them in different directions. Different schools. Different cities. Different routines. And for a while, those moments around the kitchen grew fewer and farther between.

Real Life

Coming Back Together

Years later, life brought them home again. Only this time, they came back as women with full lives of their own. Natasha, the oldest, was raising two children and needed meals that were wholesome, simple, and family-friendly. Nicole and Mariel had built lives with their husbands, both athletes with big appetites and a need for meals that were satisfying, balanced, and substantial. What they all shared was the same challenge: life had become busy, and dinner had become harder than it should be. Somewhere along the way, the three sisters who once drove each other crazy became inseparable. What started as childhood chaos turned into a true bond, and today they joke that they are more like “semi-triplets” than sisters — always together, always laughing, and always thinking about the next meal.

The Problem

"Why is this so hard?"

Like so many families, they found themselves asking the same question over and over: Why is getting a good meal on the table so hard? There was never enough time to plan, shop, prep, and cook from scratch every night. Traditional meal kits felt like too much work. Subscription services came with strings attached. And too often, good intentions ended with wasted ingredients, forgotten produce, and one more expensive dinner that never made it to the table. They didn’t need something trendy. They needed something real. Something made for busy households, changing schedules, hungry families, and people who still care about what they eat.

The Answer

This time, something changed.

So, they created what they couldn’t find. Meals made with clean ingredients, generous portions, and flavors that feel comforting, familiar, and worth sitting down for. Food that fits real life — not the other way around. No subscriptions. No hidden fees. No complicated prep. No piles of unused ingredients. Just clean-label, ready-to-enjoy meals made for busy families, full tables, and the kind of everyday moments that matter most. Because for them, food was never just about eating. It was about coming back together. And that is exactly what they wanted to share.

"Nosh Table & Thyme isn't about food. It's about that moment when everyone finally sits down, takes a breath, and just… enjoys being together. Even if something's slightly overcooked."
